Whether a leg’s amount moves an input relatively, x·(1 + s), or absolutely, x + s.

A leg may leave it unset, and then each input moves the way it always has: a curve absolutely in its quote, an FX spot and a vol relatively. Naming it asks for the other where one exists — a vol moved in vol points — and a type an input cannot take is refused rather than invented.
