Lens

Enum Lens

#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum Lens { All, Currency(Currency), Product(&'static str), IdPrefix(String), And(Box<Lens>, Box<Lens>), Or(Box<Lens>, Box<Lens>), Not(Box<Lens>), }
Expand description

A selection over a book. Passive data — it asks what a trade is, never what it is worth, so applying one needs no market and no mode.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

All

Every trade.

§

Currency(Currency)

Trades in one currency.

§

Product(&'static str)

Trades of one product family, by the aggregate’s own name.

§

IdPrefix(String)

Trades whose identifier starts with a prefix — the desk or book code.

§

And(Box<Lens>, Box<Lens>)

Trades admitted by both.

§

Or(Box<Lens>, Box<Lens>)

Trades admitted by either.

§

Not(Box<Lens>)

Trades the inner lens rejects.

Implementations§

§

impl Lens

pub fn product(name: &str) -> Option<Lens>

The product lens for a name resolved at runtime — one of AnyInstrument::PRODUCT_NAMES — or None for a name no arm has.

pub fn admits(&self, trade: &Trade) -> bool

Whether trade is admitted.

pub fn and(self, other: Lens) -> Lens

This lens and other.

pub fn or(self, other: Lens) -> Lens

This lens or other.

pub fn excluding(self) -> Lens

The complement of this lens.

Named excluding rather than not so it cannot be mistaken for the standard negation operator, which this is not: it builds a lens rather than inverting a boolean.
