Expand description

The repayment seniority of a debt security (FpML creditSeniority coding scheme). A subset of the scheme sufficient for the bond family and for the tiers a CDS references. Ordered by declaration, so a market keyed by a credit identity enumerates an issuer’s tiers in one fixed order.

Variants§

§

SeniorSec

Senior secured.

§

SeniorUnSec

Senior unsecured.

§

SeniorLossAbsorbingCapacity

Senior non-preferred — the bail-in-able senior tier (SNRLAC), which banks quote as its own CDS curve.

§

SubTier1

Subordinate, tier 1.

§

SubTier2

Subordinate, tier 2.

§

SubLowerTier2

Subordinate, lower tier 2.

§

SubTier3

Subordinate, tier 3.

§

Other

Any other seniority.

Implementations§

§

impl Seniority

pub const ACCEPTED: &'static [&'static str]

Every spelling this vocabulary accepts, canonical forms first.

Matching additionally ignores case and _/-/whitespace — see normalize in core::vocabulary.

pub fn code(self) -> &'static str

The canonical code for this variant; round-trips through FromStr.
