Struct Records
pub struct Records(Vec<(&'static str, Column)>);Expand description
A column-oriented record set: stable names, parallel columns of equal length.
The conversion into a dataframe or a CSV deliberately does not live here.
It lives in the Python package behind a function-local import, so no crate in
this workspace depends on a dataframe library and the Python dependency stays
genuinely optional. The text rendering does live here, as Display, so a
Rust caller and a Python print show one table.
The readings are the Python table’s: columns in producer
order, column by name, records["name"] panicking with the
held names for one it does not hold, len as the row count,
and the typed readings on each Column.
