Enum Basis
#[non_exhaustive]pub enum Basis {
Zero,
Par,
}Expand description
The quote a sensitivity is expressed against.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
Zero
The curve node’s own quote — a continuously compounded zero rate for a discount or projection curve, a hazard for a credit curve, and the parameter itself where it already is its quote.
This is the basis a risk pass produces directly, up to the per-family
∂p/∂q weight, and it needs nothing of the market beyond the curve
families themselves.
Par
The calibrating instrument’s quote — the zero-basis gradient flipped
through ∂z/∂q into one entry per rung of the ladder that built each
curve.
Reportable only where every contributing curve was pinned with its ladder. A curve without one fails loud rather than dropping out of a ladder that would then silently describe part of the book.
