WindowCoupon

Struct WindowCoupon

pub struct WindowCoupon {
    pub date: NaiveDate,
    pub per_100: f64,
    pub reinvested: Option<OvernightCoupon>,
}
Expand description

One coupon the cash lender is entitled to over the term, per 100 face.

Entitlement, not payment: a coupon paid inside the term belongs to the holder, and so does one paid after the far date when the bond goes back ex-dividend — its record date passed while the lender held it. The second has a reinvestment period running backwards, from its payment date to the far date.

Fields§

§date: NaiveDate

The payment date.

§per_100: f64

The amount per 100 face.

§reinvested: Option<OvernightCoupon>

For a floating buy/sell-back, the strip between the coupon’s date and the far date — forwards when it pays inside the term, backwards when it pays after it.

Implementations§

§

impl WindowCoupon

pub fn paid_after(&self, end: NaiveDate) -> bool

Whether the coupon pays after the far date: entitled ex-dividend.
