LevelInterpolation

Enum LevelInterpolation

pub enum LevelInterpolation {
    Linear,
    LogLinear,
}
Expand description

How projected levels between nodes are computed.

A discount curve’s pillars are log discount factors, so its interpolation acts on log ordinates by construction. An inflation curve’s ordinates are raw levels, so each member here has to name what it acts on.

Variants§

§

Linear

Straight line on index levels.

§

LogLinear

Straight line on ln(level) — exponential growth between nodes, so the midpoint of levels a and b is √(a·b).

Implementations§

§

impl LevelInterpolation

pub const ACCEPTED: &'static [&'static str]

Every spelling this vocabulary accepts, canonical forms first.

Matching additionally ignores case and _/-/whitespace — see normalize in core::vocabulary.

pub fn code(self) -> &'static str

The canonical code for this variant; round-trips through FromStr.
