Direction

Enum Direction

pub enum Direction {
    Receive,
    Pay,
}
Expand description

Whether a leg’s payments are received or paid.

Applied once, at the NPV fold, rather than per coupon — so an active mode records one negation for a leg instead of one for every cashflow in it.

Variants§

§

Receive

Payments are received (+1). The default.

§

Pay

Payments are paid or financed (−1).

Implementations§

§

impl Direction

pub fn sign(self) -> f64

The side’s sign.

pub fn flipped(self) -> Self

The other side. What a product turning a payer into a receiver applies to each of its legs, so the legs stay the trade’s rather than one orientation being remembered beside them.

§

impl Direction

pub const ACCEPTED: &'static [&'static str]

Every spelling this vocabulary accepts, canonical forms first.

Matching additionally ignores case and _/-/whitespace — see normalize in core::vocabulary.

pub fn code(self) -> &'static str

The canonical code for this variant; round-trips through FromStr.
